I had a cut-off piece of laminated wood from my
previous project, and I set it aside since it was large enough that I thought I could get another small turning out of it.
I dug it out recently, and after considering various possible shapes and the angle of the laminations, I settled on a wide-mouthed bowl for the shape. The trickiest part was mounting the oddly-shaped piece to the lathe at the proper angle. After that, it was a pretty straightforward turning process. Some construction details can be found
