One year I made a number of clocks as Christmas gifts. The bodies are made from Mahogany, Bubinga and Pau Ferro. They have different shapes, but all have a common clock insert and a base and feet made from Wenge (since of course black goes with everything). The clock insert is just friction-fit into the body, so there is nothing to mar the back of the body. Probably the hardest part of making these was turning all the tiny little legs.
