Like the "
original" disc roller, this one is the same shape and rolls in a similar manner. However, I made this one as an outline rather than solid (sort of a disc roller meets
cube outline fusion). This was made out of Kingwood, which is a beautiful wood, but very hard. Like the cube outline, I roughed out the shape with lots of extra material, and then converted the extra to dust with sandpaper strips. The pile of used sandpaper can be seen in the construction montage photo.
