Saddle Point
The saddle point in mathematics is a point on a surface where if the surface curves up in say, the left-right direction, then it would curve down in the front-back direction. In other words, it is saddle-shaped. I carved this little piece just because it was interesting. It was sanded until it was very smooth, and is a great little thing to handle, since the curves fit nicely around a finger.
