Vessel - Donut
A
While the term "donut" may not be precise, it's more catchy than "truncated hollow cylinder" or "square-section toroid" to describe the shapes that compose the walls of this vessel. I apologize to anyone who had been eagerly anticipating a wood confection with icing and sprinkles.

As you might expect, the vessel was formed from a hollowed turning which was then selectively pierced and then textured. The process was straightforward; a drill and rotary tool were used to form the round holes with a small jigsaw followed by needle files for the un-round holes. Finally a small grinder was used for the texture.
