In a local restaurant I had noticed a decoration that looked a bit like a picture frame. I thought it would look good as a picture frame, so I built this one in that image and filled it with snaps of friends and relations from over the years. The construction is fairly straightforward - The frame corners are simple 45 degree butt joints with pins from both sides for added strength. I routed the cross pieces to overlap and glued them in place. The photos are pressed against the glass using soft foam and a piece of thin plywood, and the plywood is held in with small wooden toggles made from the same Jatoba wood as the frame.
