I had made a number of wooden
balls, which have since been sitting around in a pressboard egg carton. Now, while that carton is chock-full of Practical, it almost oozes Ugly. So I needed something else to put them in, and a bowl seemed like the most logical thing. I thought that a regular bowl would be too deep to display the balls, so I
made a very shallow bowl with just enough depth to keep the balls in the center. That's why this looks like a plate, but since the intent was to make a bowl, that's what I'm calling it.
