Bowl 3
I acquired a set of lifter blocks for my little lathe that lifted the spindle up about an inch, allowing a piece to be turned up to 5 1/2" diameter. This bowl was made about as large as it could be using the blocks. I liked the proportions of the last bowl I had made, so this one was similar except in size. The two Figured Maple bowls have some nice "chatoyance" brought out by the varnish.
