Cutting Board - 1" Maple
Available
I had a decent-sized chunk of Maple leftover from making a large cutting board so the logical thing to do was to use it up making a smaller cutting board.

The first step in making the larger board had been to laminate planks together to make a piece that would be sliced up and combined to make the final board. There was about 6" x 20" of this laminated material left over which was plenty to make a more-modest sized board.

There wasn't much to the construction procedure since it had been simple to start with and was already half done. I just sliced the laminated piece up, glued it together, sanded it down and trimmed the edges. Like the original it ended up with something of an "old brick wall" look to it due to patterning on the original Maple plank.
