Last winter we had a number of plants in the sun room perched on a variety of small tables close to a South window. This summer Sue suggested a plant stand to replace the tables as a woodworking project. The typical slatted shelves often used for window plants didn't appeal to me so instead I thought I'd make a series of individual stands. These might not look particularly coordinated but at least would be more interesting to work on.
This is the first of the lot, a straight-legged minimalist approach that I adopted (pronounced like "copied") from various product images I had come across. The
construction was pretty straightforward and consisted of only six pieces glued together with simple joinery.
