This is the second in my group of completely unmatched sun room plant stands. This design was inspired by a square version I'd seen which actually looked a bit awkward - I think it looks better with a round profile although at the cost of being more involved to make.
I had originally thought to use a steam-bending technique for the curved legs but the compound curve - both with and across the grain - made that a very difficult task. Some simple tests convinced me that I would be better off with another approach. Plan B turned out to be
coopering the legs which ended up working just fine.
