House Numbers - Large
A little under a quarter-century ago(!) I made a set of black wooden numbers to go on the front of the house. They were made at a typical house-number size of 5 inches high, but they ended up looking pretty small from the street. That wasn't much of a problem but I thought I'd do an update to help out the various delivery people that we tend to use more often now than in the day of the 50 MByte hard disk drive.

These were pretty simple to make; just cut from a piece of laminated maple, stained black with India ink and varnished. These new ones are 10" high in a font that's a bit more modern than the previous set.
