This is another numerically-named tissue box cover, this one made for our study where there remained an almost-naked vertical tissue box. It was actually wearing the temporary slide-in base I had made while working on the original
tissue box cover (which was technically #1 but who knew I'd make a career of it?). This base was decently functional but it still exposed half of the crass commercial tissue box so it was crying out to be fixed.
This cover is a pretty simple look in maple with mitered corners and dark African blackwood trim. The
construction was a bit more involved since all five sides are actually shop-made three-ply maple plywood, used to preserve the joint integrity though seasonal humidity fluctuations.
